ORGANIZATION: OKTOBERFEST INC

The Children's Area Team is looking for new members to join the fun that is Tulsa Oktoberfest! The kids tent provides a place for families and children to hang out and have fun during Tulsa Oktoberfest. The team who runs the tent provides concessions, crafts, games, and entertainment to families during their time on site.

Team members would help coordinate the activities within the tent under the team lead. Members would take on specific areas of the tent, such as games, a craft, the maze, etc. Current crafts are; sand art, perler, pumpkins, clothes pins, clucking chickens, painting eggs or windchimes. Current activities / games; castle maze, ring ross, pretzel toss, duck pond. Alternative activities not in rotation; Dachshund scavenger hunt. In addition to coordinating a space during the event team members can help decorate ahead of the festival opening.

Event dates are October 18-23 with the Children's area open from October 20-23 specifically. Working hours are event hours and team members are asked to be present all festival when part of the leadership team.

Help us bring authentic Bavaria to life right here in Tulsa by giving a few hours of time to pour, sell, visit, give, guide, drive, lift and, well, dance (the Chicken Dance). Individuals, friends, friends of friends, families, corporate volunteers and service groups are more than welcome, and you’ll get free stuff. Chicken hat optional. FACT: It takes more than 1,000 people to donate more than 6,000 hours to help produce one of the Top 5 Oktoberfest celebrations in America. We cannot do it without YOU!
