The Client Navigator volunteer assists the Centralized Intake Coordinator by providing compassionate and professional phone support to clients calling for services or community resource information. Client Navigators are the initial pone representation of ICS and provide community resources, ICS resources, and computer-based screening for ICS services. Volunteers embody ICS values of Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Collaboration and Innovation.
Job Qualifications:
- Proficiently complete all required trainings
- Exhibit proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and good ability to learn new computer skills
- Professional phone skills with ability to communicate compassionately, clearly, and tactfully
- Ability to handle multiple phone lines preferred
- Strong customer service skills including patience, empathy and listening with ability to communicate clearly and set appropriate conversational boundaries
- Strong skills for written communications, multi-tasking and time management
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- One day per week for a 4 hour shift requested

Interfaith Community Services is a non-profit agency that helps seniors, disabled individuals and people in financial crisis in Pima County achieve stable and independent lives though support from over 950 volunteers, 109 faith communities and the community-at-large. Description
Our multiple services are often the "safety net" that help our recipients remain or become stabilized, enabling them to lead independent lives. We are providing services for thousands of people in need. Over the past year, we have provided 45,714 services, over 20.034 individuals were served and provided $650,098 of financial services.
