Metropolitan Family Services Howard Evanston Community Center is a social service agency that provides affordable and free education, employment, and health assistance programs for the greater Rogers Park Area.

We offer a community computer lab on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 1:30-4:30pm. The volunteer computer lab assistant is an important piece for us to keep this service open and available.

The computer lab assistant position includes:

• Signing in clients when they come to use the lab.
• Assisting clients with basic computer functions.

• Assisting with printing.
• Assisting with sending faxes.
• Keeping the Computer Lab clean and organized.
• Making sure clients do not download any malicious, unwanted or unnecessary programs and materials onto the computers.
• Making sure all computers are logged out and ready for the next user.
