Every Tuesday night is youth night at The Salvation Army. Most of the children are picked up from school by a staff member and brought back to our Sevierville location. We feed them dinner and then do activities including crafts, STEM projects, dance, music, and art. Thus, we are looking for artists from the community that would like to volunteer.

Mission Statement
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in his name without discrimination.
Description
William Booth started the Salvation Army in England in 1852 to be able to take the Gospel directly to people in the community. The Salvation Army now has locations worldwide. The Sevierville Salvation Army serves residents of Sevier and Cocke counties with assistance with food, gas, utility bills, rent, and temporary housing. In addition, we have special projects throughout the year like Christmas assistance through the Angel Tree program.
