ORGANIZATION: Vantage Hospice

Hospice volunteers provide a variety of direct and indirect services to patients and their families. Visits to provide companionship, caregiver relief, errands, music therapy, pet therapy, and other services are examples of direct services. Phone calls, pen-pals, and special projects like blanket crafting are examples of indirect services. Volunteers can also get involved with administrative support by assisting in the office. Participate in events at assisted living such as bingo or karaoke. Attend fairs to recruit volunteers at campuses. Hand out flyers to the community to recruit volunteers.

What hospice volunteer does is determined by their abilities and interests.

Mission Statement

Vantage Hospice, LLC is dedicated to providing individualized hospice care with services specially tailored to the physical, social, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients with life-limiting illness, their families, and the community, by delivering high-quality and compassionate care.
