We’re looking for an enthusiastic Database Administrator to join our friendly, global team.

You should have a minimum of five years of commercial experience in a DBA environment, with capabilities in:

  • Install and maintain the performance of database servers
  • Develop processes for optimizing database security
  • Set and maintain database standards
  • Manage database access on Azure VM environment
  • Performance tuning of database systems
  • Install, upgrade, and manage database applications
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors
  • Recommend and implement emerging database technologies
  • Well versed with PostgreSQL on CentOS server
  • Create automation for repeating database tasks
  • Advanced PostgreSQL development experience is an advantage
  • Be available for on-call support as needed

In this volunteer role, you’ll have the chance to expand your network to include senior officials worldwide as you work through selected projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent in English (preferred)

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
