Volunteers assist with activities that include: games, arts and crafts, cooking, mindfulness walks and leisure learning.
We have volunteer openings at three locations:
Providence Community Center and The Old Firehouse Teen Center in McLean on M, W, F
Cathy Hudgins Community Center, Southgate in Reston

Description
SPARC Solutions empowers adults with disAbilities to live as engaged citizens by giving back to their community through service projects, acquiring new vocational skills through entrepreneurial projects, and practicing life skills through leisure-learning guided lessons. SPARC enriches the lives of these young adults by enabling them to pursue hobbies and pastimes they may not otherwise be able to enjoy. We provide a natural setting and supports that allow participants to learn and engage in sports, cooking, photography, art and music, use computers, participate in book clubs, enjoy the outdoors and build strong, meaningful friendships. Though our community centers are relatively small, they offer our club members a world of opportunity
