ORGANIZATION: AAUW Springfield, IL branch

We're having a garage sale to raise funds for scholarships and advocacy efforts. We'd appreciate assistance with setting up the space, managing sales, providing friendly interactions to buyers, and clean up after the sale is over. Training provided at the beginning of your shift.

AAUW Springfield members donate items that are sold to the community. Funds raised are used to support local scholarship including five undergraduate and one graduate (nursing) at the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS), one at St. John’s College (nursing), and one at Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC).

On Friday we need assistance with set-up of space, helping people bring in donations, and labeling of donations to get them ready for sale. Friday set-up: 1st shift 11:00 - 2:00, 2nd shift 2:00 - 5:00. On Saturday we need assistance with sale of items, customer service, and cleanup of space after garage sale ends. Saturday sale: 1st shift 8:45 - 11:00, 2nd shift 11:00 - 1:15.
