The Alcott Center for Mental Health Services is looking for volunteers to teach different life skills at our interim housing site in Watts. We are looking for different life skills, such as cooking classes, yoga, meditation, painting, relationship building, song writing, and nutrition. The opportunity for the residents at our Interim Housing Site to learn these different life skills is invaluable because these skills are helping to set them up for their next steps beyond our bridge home. The class schedule is flexible, but we are looking for volunteers who can commit to teaching a class at least once month for at least three months in order to establish consistency for the residents in our bridge home.

If you have any questions, then please reach out to Andrea Tan at atan@alcottcenter.org.
