Meals on Wheels Anderson is in need of substitute volunteer drivers for all areas of our footprint!

If you have a flexible work schedule and are unable to commit to a weekly/bi-weekly route but want an opportunity to volunteer this is the position for you! As a substitute driver, you might receive a call once or twice a week asking if you could help cover one of the 45 routes within Anderson County. Requests for coverage happen 1-3 days prior to the date of volunteering.

As a substitute driver, you will have a list of homebound clients to deliver meals to that day. Typically, routes have between 6-20 clients, depending upon the area of delivery. Routes across our footprint take between 1-3 hours to complete. Meals on Wheels Anderson reaches all corners of Anderson County! From Honea Path to Pendleton, Powdersville to Belton and everything in between! Please help us serve our seniors and homebound clients!
