Hello. Hendricks Foundation Inc. is seeking volunteers to help us write grant proposals to help underprivileged students. We aim to provide more students with access to computers and to promote sustainability measures. Obtaining grants will help us to repair more computers, provide computer training to more students, and cover other operating costs, including equipment, materials and programming. Volunteers would have a flexible schedule, which can be discussed further with us.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you are interested!

Mission Statement

We are the bridge to the digital divide.

Description

In The Digital Universe,

Every star has the right to shine its light upon the world. Yet some are hidden from our eyes. How will we tell their stories, if we do not see them in our skies. Everyone on earth has great potential. Without the right access to modern tools, they may be eclipsed by our fast paced world. Since the start of the pandemic, We have seen the true natures of what lack to the digital universe can do. That is why The Hendricks Foundation was founded. It is our mission to provide means for students to have access to digital education because we are the bridge to the digital divide. Our primary method of achieving said goal is to: take donations of used, broken or outdated computing devices, rehabilitate or repurpose donated devices and distribute them to students who need access to the digital Universe.
