Do you love to teach? Enjoy making connections with community organizations? How about sharing our vision of an end to Alzheimer's?

Alzheimer's Association Community Educators and Community Representatives are volunteer public speakers who raise awareness of Alzheimer's Association programs, provide disease information, and link consumers to Alzheimer’s Association services. These roles are best suited to persons who already have connections in their communities.

Support Group Facilitators create a safe, open environment where people share their feelings, thoughts and experiences in a combined effort to better cope with and manage the shared problems of dementia.

Early Stage Social Engagement Leaders plan, implement and assure positive experience during social engagement events/activities for people living with memory loss and their care partners. Activities happen during weekdays only.

The Association is seeking volunteer candidates with:

  • Demonstrated success with health education using excellent communication, presentation and adult education skills.
  • Comfort with computers and familiarity with email and PPT presentations.
  • Ability to network, and collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Passionate about the Alzheimer’s Association mission, with personal or professional experience with dementia preferred.
  • Must be age 21 to apply. Background checks are required.
