Companionship Volunteers Needed for Hospice!

Elara Caring, one of the nation's largest providers of home-based and hospice care, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life companionship to local hospice patients and their families. This can include:
-Conversing with patients
-Reading out loud to patients
-Listening to/playing music
-Recording memories via photos and scrapbooks
-Providing grief support to families
Onboarding requirements include: IDPH background check, yearly TB test, and Physical exam
Hours are very flexible! You can choose from weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Typically, we ask you to donate an hour of your time once a week.
