Honor Our Veterans
ORGANIZATION: Elara Caring
Please visit the new page to apply.
One of the number one priorities of Elara Caring Hospice is to honor life, and its many cherished faucets. We strive to honor all who contribute to the world and make it a better place. This includes the brave men and women who have served in our military- our VETERANS. Honoring, recognizing and providing information to our Veterans is one of the most impactful things we can do. The culture of stoicism and societal reactions can discourage Veterans from sharing their war experiences. That is why we need you- a Veteran volunteer!! When one Veteran talks to another, that stoicism and secrecy may dissolve. Please consider volunteering with one of our Veteran patients. Veterans share a common language; code of conduct and honor. Sharing supports life review and healing.
