Support a great cause and earn volunteer hours. Volunteers are needed for the annual event called Games Galore Fall FUNraiser!
ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
Here to Serve is a non-profit organization offering immediate non-medical assistance to friends, neighbors, and loved ones who experience life-threatening health crises or sudden tragic injuries turning their world upside down. Here to Serve acts as intercessors and navigators demystifying the plethora of nonprofit, health care, government, professional, and corporate services available. Here to Serve coordinates website and personal services to individuals and families. Our mix of website support and personal services includes assistance with: professional and nonprofit services; counseling; fundraising; child care; meals; household needs, transportation, pet care, and general logistics.
IMPACT
Proceeds will go to help serve more families who find themselves on a journey they neither asked for nor imagined they would take.
VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
We need people for setting up, tear down, check-in, check-out, spotters, videographers/editors, AV support, and other event activities.
Basket Creation
Shift: Saturday or Sunday the 24th from 10 am - 5 pm
Role: Help create donation baskets for a raffle.
Requirement: None
Location: Monrovia
AV Crew
Shift: 2:30 pm to 4 pm and 7:45 pm to 9:15 pm
Role: Set up the projector, video, and PPT equipment
Requirement: Experience working with projectors.
Location: Arcadia
Videographer
Shift: 4:30pm to 10pm
Role: Capture the event and edit the final videos.
Location: Arcadia
Set-Up
Shift: 11am - 3pm
Role: Set up the displays, auction items, easels, and clipboards, ensure the numbers match
Requirements: Car availability
Location: Arcadia
Check-in
Shift: 4pm - 8pm
Role: Check in guests as they arrive at the event.
Requirements: Attend a zoom training before the event and bring a tablet or computer.
Location: Arcadia
Tear Down
Shift: 9:30 - 11pm
Role: Deconstruct easels, put them into boxes, and transport them to Monrovia
Requirements: Car availability

Therefore, we mobilize people and resources to meet daily living requirements of families who do not qualify for government assistance.
Description
Research Coordinator who can work with an Access database on ShareForce. Need someone research organizations online and through phone calls updating organizations with correct information, contacts and categories of service they provide. Need to delete defunct organizations and add news ones as found through online research.
