QUICK OVERVIEW
Venice Community Housing will be hosting our annual fundraiser, the Jazz Champagne Brunch, on Sunday, October 2nd.
IMPACT
Venice Community Housing supports and builds equitable and inclusive communities by providing affordable housing with supportive services, education, employment programs, and public policy advocacy that advances racial and economic justice.
VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The event will include a digital program, a silent auction, and brunch. We need volunteers to help set up, manage, and break down the event on Saturday 10/2, and Sunday 10/2. This is a great opportunity to contribute to our work and have fun at the same time!
Primary Responsibility: Staffing food stations
Key Responsibilities:
Serving guests through the buffet line
Other similar duties as assigned (i.e. re-stocking buffet, serving desserts, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent customer service skills
Reliable, responsible, and polite
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Dress Code
A T-Shirt will be provided (or you may wear your own white shirt) and black bottoms (pants, skirt, or shorts, jeans ok). Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Training for this position will be provided on the day of the event.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Lunch will be provided. The event takes place outdoors.
