We are looking for volunteers who have the hospice heart and want to make a difference in a person's life. You can volunteer by sitting with patients during their time of need, playing music and games with patients, reading to them or just listening to the patients talk about their lives.
Our caring staff loves what they do and we want you to be a part of our team! This is a very flexible position. Volunteer once a week or twice month, whatever time allows. We will work with your schedule to make it as convenient as possible. We have patients in Missouri and Kansas so we can match you with someone who is close to where you live and/or work.

Description
Specialized Hospice is a clinician lead organization with a main focus of providing great care and improving quality of life for any person approaching the end of their life due to a serious illness. We are looking for volunteers who have the hospice heart and want to make a difference in a person's life. You can volunteer by sitting with patients during their time of need, assisting with office duties, participating in a massage therapy program, playing music for patients and/or providing pet therapy.
