Are you in the Menlo Park/Palo Alto area and love dogs? Consider applying to be a Puppy Foster for Paws for Purple Hearts, a nonprofit that trains PTSD and Mobility Service Dogs for Veterans. We are looking for volunteers to help us in caring for Service Dogs in training outside of the typical work day. This involves drop off/pick up to the Menlo Park VA Monday-Friday and caring for the dog over the weekend. Our volunteer fosters are a cornerstone of our Service dog program and help us to do what we do.
