VOLUNTEERS OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION Volunteers who patronize the GXVO programs stand the chance of enjoying the following opportunities: 1. Medical program volunteers will be awarded certificates witnessed and signed by the district health director. This will enrich their curricula vitae (CV). They also have the chance to practically apply their knowledge in health issues and gain more experience on the job. Volunteers can also improve in healthcare delivery by asking and learning from senior health professionals on the job. Additionally, through home visits, medical volunteers socialize with the people, learn their languages and other cultural practices. 2. Education program volunteers will be awarded certificates witnessed and signed by the district director of education. Volunteers will have the chance to know more about the education system in Ghana. They also have the opportunity to know more about the culture of the people through some of the subjects they are tasked to teach. By identifying peculiar talents or issues of some students, volunteers can develop closer relationships with their family in an attempt to help them. This may eventually make the volunteer feel accepted to be part of the family thus better security for them. Volunteers have the opportunity to learn more of Ghanaian languages, cultures and festivals. 3. Wildlife program volunteers will be awarded certificates of service at the wildlife. Volunteers have the opportunity to explore the fauna and flora with great excitement of nature. Experience in how to relate with animals will be acquired as an opportunity for volunteers. Volunteers can also develop more passion for animals and love to care for them. 4. Childcare home program volunteers will also be awarded a certificate in childcare. Volunteers also have the chance to know more about childcare which may help them in taking care of their own children. Also, volunteers will have the opportunity to directly relate with the parents of the kids and feel part 0f the family.

Description
We have been in operation since 2009 and have made tremendous impact in our Healthcare project, Educational project and Wildlife project and Environmental conservation. Without added support, our children and the community are vulnerable to dangerous conditions to include malaria, sexual abuse, heavy domestic work. GXVO is volunteers research and care at the wildlife and environmental centers has been able to save alot of animals and plants. Currently, we are helping 100 children escape this lifestyle by lending a helping hand through education and care. Have been able to reduce maternal mortality through education and health promotion in some communities. Here in Ghana, we offer a safe, comfortable and a welcoming volunteer facility and an overall positive experience. We offer opportunities to travel around Ghana on off days to experience the culture, our friendly people, and the magnificence of our country. Recent volunteer, marta cueler Gomez , said "my eight weeks spent with Theresah and the childcare home changed my life. My heart with always be with this special children and I plan to return." We believe that it is up to the next generation to break the cycle and unify a continent. Our curriculum and activities inspire a sense of purpose in the hearts of each child by teaching that just one person can make a difference and the health of the people is our concern.

- Our volunteers work 7 hours a day and 35hours a week from healthcare work to teaching English, maths, arts, organizing games,caring for animals and protectingthe environme, giving health care on endemic health issues in deprived communities in Ghana
- Most volunteers prefer to travel on weekends to explore some of the natural geographic sites in Ghana. Based on arrangement, volunteers will travel by themselves or will be accompanied by some staff of GXVO. Volunteers bear the cost of weekend travel
