ABOUT FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE:
Friendship Circle provides assistance and support to 3,000 individuals with special needs and their families by providing recreational, social, educational, and vocational programming. In addition to helping those in need, the Friendship Circle enriches its vast network of volunteers by enabling them to reap the rewards of selfless giving. Friendship Circle also provides support to individuals and families struggling with isolation, addiction, and other family-related crises.

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Activity Leader will get the opportunity to volunteer in a fun, upbeat environment with kids with special needs ranging from ages 4-12 years old by leading them in different activities such as sensory-based crafts, gym games, outdoor activities, and more! Activity Leaders will be supported by Group Leaders who will help manage the group so the Activity Leaders can focus on fun and engagement.

  • This opportunity requires volunteers to attend weekly on Sundays from 12:00 - 2:00 pm, from October through May. However, exceptions may be made for those who are not able to attend weekly for the duration of the school year.
