Help build a healthier Silicon Valley! The Health Trust is in search of dedicated volunteers to join our mission of promoting health equity by assisting with our critical food distribution service, the Jerry Larson Food Basket.
As a Food/Grocery Bag Volunteer, you'll have a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring our clients receive nutritious food in a timely manner. This opportunity not only lets you make a tangible difference in your community but also offers deeply satisfying engagement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food/grocery bags filled with nutritious choices at The Health Trust Jerry Larson Food Basket.
- Work as part of a committed team to ensure all bags are ready for timely delivery to our clients.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with our team to manage food distribution effectively.
Availability:
Join us on alternating weeks from Monday to Thursday between 8:30 am - 9:30 am. We also have shifts available every Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am - 9:30 am.
How to Become a Volunteer:
To join our team, please complete our online application and onboarding forms. You will be scheduled once you receive a confirmation from our Community Partnerships Team at volunteers@healthtrust.org.
