The 2022 Annual Desert AIDS Walk is rapidly approaching on Saturday, October 29, 2022. We walk to bring awareness of, and an ending to, the HIV and AIDS epidemic in the Coachella Valley. This year, more than ever, it is also a time to confront recent and national opposition to human rights and to stand up for LGBTQ+ Health Equity!
Please consider volunteering in any one of several areas: Pre-event Set-up, Day-of Event Set-up, Registration, Hospitality/Cafe, Route and Parking Monitors, Park Rangers/Runners, Backstage, Sign Carrriers, Event Closers, and Event Breakdown. We have multiple, 3-4 hours shifts available that run from 5:30am until approximately 2:00pm. There is no strenuous activity/lifting involved but there is plenty of standing and, yes, walking! So please wear comfy shoes and sunscreen and stay hydrated (water and snacks will be available).
Please consider joining our terrific team of volunteers who help to create and manage one of the most fun and successful fundraiser-events in the Coachella Valley!

Description
DAP Health (DAP) is an advocacy-based health center in Palm Springs, CA offering medical and mental healthcare, STI testing and treatment, dentistry, pharmacy, and lab. A variety of wraparound services enable patients to experience optimal health, including social services, support groups, alternative therapies, and other wellness services. Excellent HIV care is provided by the largest team of specialized clinicians in the area.
Giving Back Never Goes Out of Style . Shopping or donating at Revivals funds hope and health for the 8,000 individuals who call DAP their healthcare home. Revivals Stores donate 100% of its profits, over $1 million a year to support comprehensive medical and mental healthcare at DAP Health.
