RSF 2014

15 Hands Rescue (Rancho Saint Francis) is a private charitable foundation serving the needs of abused, neglected & abandoned horses. Our ranches are located in Thousand Oaks (Hidden Valley) and Camarillo (Santa Rosa Valley), Southern California. "Service with Compassion" - that is our motto.

We look for compassionate people looking to make a difference in the lives of our rescue and sanctuary horses. Volunteers should be in good physical condition, collaborate well with others, uphold professional standards such as being dependable, responsible and consistent. Volunteers will be asked to attend an orientation, complete release/consent forms, maintain personal medical coverage and complete training sessions. Volunteers must adhere to our safety standards and training guidelines. Volunteers ages 14-17 require parental consent and our program director's approval. Volunteers should plan to offer a minimum of (4) service hours per month. Short-term volunteering, such as college breaks, does not serve the best interest of our program or animals. We accept applicants looking for an ongoing volunteer opportunity.

For community service hours, college or other noncourt-mandated, you must disclose your interest in completing community service hours. No less than (40) hours will be considered. You will be asked to complete a conditional agreement and service hours will be acknowledged after successful completion of all required hours.

To make a difference in the lives of our rescue and sanctuary horses, please contact us to learn more about our volunteer program.
