Catholic Charities, located in Lynn, MA, seeks a part-time bilingual receptionist to support our front office reception area.

The receptionist is responsible for the oversight and smooth functioning of the reception desk.

The receptionist will:

• Greet visitors and complete the sign in process to register visitors
• Notify employees of visitors’ arrivals
• Direct visitors within the building and complete the sign out process upon exiting
• Promptly answer calls in a clear and friendly manner
• Identify the needs of callers and transfer calls to appropriate locations
• Oversee incoming and outgoing mail to ensure prompt delivery internally and externally
• Support program staff by preparing and organizing program materials

Qualifications include:

1. High School diploma or HiSET/GED
2. Good verbal and written communication skills
3. Bilingual Spanish/English
4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and compassionately in a culturally competent manner with individuals of a wide variety of backgrounds, skill levels, race and ethnicity, with varying levels of English language skills
5. Organizational skills; and
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet.

Job Type: Part-time (20 hours per week/ flexible schedule).
