FLATBUSH CATS BACKGROUND:
Tens of thousands of cats live on the streets in Brooklyn - alone, hungry, and needing medical attention. Flatbush Cats, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is on a mission to end the cat overpopulation crisis in Brooklyn and beyond by providing the resources and support that our rescue/TNR (trap- neuter- return) volunteers and community members need to give cats a better life. The more cats we can efficiently transport to spay/neuter appointments, foster homes, and adoptive homes, the more cats we can help.

Gain valuable coordination, organizational, and communication skills using Slack and Air Table (easy to learn), and volunteer with a dedicated team of animal lovers! This role is 2-4 hours per week remotely with flexible days and hours.
TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
- Receive incoming requests for transport from CCP and Foster teams.
- Work with the requester to clarify needs and create the transport request ticket.
- Post the requests to our transport volunteer team via our Slack channel.
- Ensure that the transport happens through communication with relevant volunteers/staff.
- Make sure all forms and documents from the trip have been uploaded in our Google Drive.
- Work with our Community Cats Program Manager and Volunteer Manager to streamline and improve on these processes
