Recruiting Organization: New York State Mentoring Program
The New York State Mentoring Program (NYSMP) utilizes a site-based mentoring program designed to match youth with adult mentors. Mentors guide our youth in developing better self-esteem, creating healthy relationships and making positive life choices. Through structured activities, and a site coordinator to facilitate sessions, the program offers the maximum support to volunteer mentors and their mentees.
All mentoring sessions are site-based and take place at PS 7 in East Harlem at a set time and day. With schools starting soon, we are in need of mentors in Harlem.
- Youth: Ages 6-8
- Day: Every Monday
- Time: 3:30 pm-5:00 pm
- Location: East 120th Street
