Leavenworth Neighborhood Cleanup Event - 9/24/22 (Location - Leavenworth Elementary School, 4420 E Thomas Ave, Fresno, CA 93702)

Mayor Dyer’s Beautify Fresno initiative is hosting a cleanup event in the area of Leavenworth Elementary School on Saturday, September 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This event will focus on cleaning the neighborhood around the school from SR-180 to Belmont Avenue, between Cedar and Maple Avenues.

Volunteers are asked to meet at Leavenworth Elementary School beginning at 8:45 a.m., to check in and for a brief orientation.

All volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver form prior to participating in this event. To speed up the check-in process, we encourage you to sign the release waiver electronically prior to the event by visiting All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign for them.

Beautify Fresno will provide safety vests, paper pickers, gloves, and trash bags, along with pre-packaged snacks and bottled water.

In an effort to keep you safe during this pandemic, Beautify Fresno will follow guidance from our national advisors at Keep America Beautiful, as well as all health and safety protocols from the CDC and the Fresno County Department of Public Health.
