Priscilla is an oyster sloop that was launched in 1888. From 1888 to 1963, she was owned and operated by several oystermen from Connecticut and New York. You can read more about her incredible history here: https://www.limaritime.org/sail-priscilla.html
Today, the Long Island Maritime Museum offers public sails and private charters on the Priscilla. She is operated by a dedicated and hardworking crew of volunteers. The Museum is looking for new crew members to join the team sailing on the Great South Bay!
Boating experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Mentorship for those newer to boating can be discussed. Please note that volunteering on the Priscilla requires physical labor and the ability to maintain the time commitments you make.
