We are seeking a highly motivated Virtual Volunteer Development Assistant. DETAILS BELOW...


JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The Volunteer Development Assistant (VDA) provides direct support to the Volunteer Coordinator (VC) of the foundation.
  • The VDA assists the VC with the growth and development of the organization by recruiting, onboarding, and managing volunteers.
  • Duties include but are not limited to making/taking calls, scheduling or conducting interviews, attending collaboration meetings, and helping to plan events.
  • The VDA also helps to support our volunteer/membership base with personal development.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:
This is a 100% VIRTUAL VOLUNTEER Opportunity!

  • The ideal candidate must have at least six months of experience as a personal assistant, or other recruiting/management-related position.
  • Must have access to a personal secured laptop with high-speed internet and a noise-free background.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and Social Media Platforms.
  • Must be able to fully commit to 12 months of volunteer service and 2 - 4 volunteer hours per week.

Preferred

  • A passion for helping to advance the mission of non-profit organizations in Africa.
  • Prior volunteer experience.
