Pet Therapy Volunteers Needed - Pittsburg, KS Area

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Compassus Hospice

Compassus Hospice is seeking dogs that are registered as therapeutic pets to join our team together with their compassionate owner willing to bring peace and comfort to our hospice patients.

Volunteers are a vital component of the hospice team and greatly appreciated for the companionship and supportive presence that they provide to our patients at the end of their lives. Adding to that a few more kisses/licks really brings joy to our patients and their families.

We have patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and private homes that could benefit from this service.
