Newark Delaware -- Yard Work Lawn Care Help Disabled Senior Woman Volunteer Landscaping

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: I Want To Mow Your Lawn Inc.

68 year old woman lives alone in Newark Delaware...

She has been trying to do her own yard work but she's been on disability for quite some time with spinal issues. Two years ago she had both shoulders replaced. The surgeon who did the right side turned her 'upside down' now with so many debilities and chronic pain -- just doing daily chores is a hardship.

She provides a riding lawn mower - we just need a regular volunteer helper who is physically abled and willing to help for remainder of the year and going into next year -- to help her around the property with upkeep.

Experience with landscaping is not required as she's very knowledgeable with lawn care and can show you the ropes!

Can you help? Contact I Want to Mow Your Lawn Inc. a registered 501c3 Non-Profit Org that provides Free Lawn Service to Elderly, Veterans and Disabled all across the USA!

About I Want To Mow Your Lawn Inc.

PO Box 3572, Wayne, NJ 07474, US

Mission Statement

To preserve dignity, enable independence and build community by providing eco-friendly essential lawn service for the elderly, veterans and others in need.

Founded in 2020, at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, I Want To Mow Your Lawn(tm) provides 100% free lawn-mowing to people over 65, military veterans, disabled, and under-resourced individuals / families - with green initiatives in mind. For I Want To Mow Your Lawn(tm) founder, Brian Schwartz, laid off from a digital-advertising job, it was something to do, some way to help, at a time when everything in the world seemed upside down.

In time, demand grew - and other volunteers joined Brian. Currently, over 175 volunteers enlisted across 37 states have helped clean-up over 500 yards. For the people that I Want To Mow Your Lawn(tm) is helping, the grass may not always be greener but it is cut, kempt, edged, and raked.

Media coverage of the organization across the globe to date has resulted in six times more volunteer enlistments for the 2022 spring-summer season.
