Our organization:
Your Service Dog, Inc. (YSDI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides individuals with disabilities or health conditions with 24/7 low-cost medical aid through the assistance of a service dog. With a YSDI-trained dog, clients can carry out their daily lives with dignity, security, and independence. YSDI enhances clients’ quality of life by empowering them to train their YSDI-provided service dog despite their disability or condition which has impaired their ability to achieve their aspirations. In this self-training program, clients are provided with a carefully evaluated and pre-raised service dog ready for training. YSDI provides an online dog training school for clients, thus providing direct and consistent support throughout the training process. At the end of the training, clients experience a boost in confidence and morale, opening the door to other achievements they may not have thought they could reach because of their impairments. Clients typically include veterans, first responders, as well as children and adults with physical or mental disabilities.
