Leave a mark in Africa aims to eradicate the illiteracy rate amongst the community through bringing and advocating for english literacy amongst public primary schools where the means of communication and learning is kiswahili language, english is only studied as a subject which causes a setback for further learning for children upon graduation of primary level to secondary school where english is now a means of learning and communication.

The transition from this two levels has a fatal impact on children studying on public schools since on most cases the classes are always understaffed and large making it difficult for children to fully get to comprehend the basis and structure of english language.

poor speaking and writing knowledge has caused many failures which then increases the dependency ratio and amplifies poverty, therefore by embarking on this project you are setting off to make a huge impact upon children in Tanzania [the ones that cant afford private schools ] rest assured that your impact would be highly noticed and appreciated.

it should be noted that LEAVE A MARK IN AFRICA ORGANISATION has exciting and effective way to make sure that the participation of volunteers in this project through various exercise is impactful to the children and lives to mature, its a guarantee that your efforts and work wont go in vain

To make it more impactful, there is going to be a tree planting activity within the course of the program imagine planting a minimum of three trees at the shores of lake victoria with your names on it two of them being fruits trees and LEAVE A MARK IN AFRICA has the responsibility to nurture and take care of them
and fast forward you get a chance to see your tree gives birth to its first fruit, the experience alone is priceless
