AmeriCorps Member for the Yolo County Library (Receive Living Stipend)

The Yolo County Library is looking for two half-time AmeriCorps members to focus on Adult and Family Literacy capacity building. AmeriCorps members are given a living stipend and must serve in the Yolo County Library Adult and Family Literacy programs (e.g., adult, family, and ESL). An AmeriCorps member will serve by assisting with program operation, tutoring, recruiting adult learners & volunteers, and promote learner leadership.

  • AmeriCorps member is paid a bi-weekly living stipend (living stipend is taxed).
  • AmeriCorps member also receives an education award (member must complete contract hours to receive education benefit).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S.
  • Must be 18 years old.

1 Shift

  • 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM
    A shift could be from 9 am to 1 pm or in the evening 4-8 pm. No more than 20 hours a week for a living stipend.
