Join the Institute for Regional Conservation in the kickoff for the second phase of our "Restoring the Gold Coast" Initiative! At IRC our goal is to unite people and nature in order to restore our world. Our RGC Initiative seeks to restore the incredible beauty and diversity of plants and animals to the coastal ecosystems of South Florida.
There is no experience required! So grab a friend and come out to help us remove invasive species and plant native ones while we enrich the biodiversity of the dune at Red Reef Park. Whether this is your first volunteer event with us or you're a repeat volunteer, we are so excited to have you join the IRC family and see how much fun habitat restoration can be!
Please be sure to RSVP as there are limited (but flexible) spot numbers for this event.

Mission Statement
A private non-profit organization, The Institute for Regional Conservation (IRC) is dedicated to the protection, restoration, and long-term management of biodiversity on a regional basis, and to the prevention of regional extinctions of rare plants, animals and ecosystems.
Description
Based in Florida, USA, IRC works on conservation research and action throughout South Florida, the Caribbean and beyond. Our work is premised on an innovative idea of conservation that seeks to protect and restore viable populations of all plant and animal species within a region, rather than simply focusing on charismatic animals or plants with narrow global ranges.
