Help cancer patients in your community get to life-saving medical appointments.
The American Cancer Society provides free rides to treatment for people with cancer. As a trained Road To Recovery volunteer driver, you can change someone’s life in as little as one hour a week by ensuring a ride is available, so care isn’t stopped or delayed.
If you own or have regular access to a safe, reliable vehicle, then you’re already on the road to volunteering. But you’ll also need to
- be between the ages of 18 and 84
- possess a valid driver’s license and adequate automobile insurance
- pass a background check and motor vehicle records check
- be comfortable using technology and have reliable internet access
- complete required training
- availability Monday - Friday between 7AM and 7PM
We would love your help!
To sign up, respond via Volunteer Match or visit the American Cancer Society at cancer.org/drive. Search for Road To Recovery in your zip code to learn more and start training.437 More opportunities with AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY
