ORGANIZATION: Valley Village

Valley Village is a non profit that provides housing, programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. We have three different day programs that clients of varying capabilities attend. Part of their program is to interact and go out into the community weekly. We need volunteers that will be kind, patient, nonjudgemental, and friendly to join some of our clients on these outings. This is a recurring weekly opportunity.

For the month of September:

Every Tuesday (Sept 13, 20, 27) 9:00am-11:30am: Balboa Park

  • Volunteers will interact with clients. If possible come up with games/activities to do with clients

Every Wednesday (Sept 7 & 21) Los Angeles Public Library 10:00am -11:30am
(Sept 14 & 28) Balboa Park 9:00am - 11:30am
  • Volunteers will interact with clients. If possible come up with games/activities to do with clients
Every Friday (Sept 9 ) 9:00am - 11:30am Glendale Mall
(Sept 16 & 30) Descanso Gardens
(Sept 23) Nethercutt Collection Museum
