Volunteers are matched one-on-one with seniors who need socialization or help with minor tasks like in-store grocery shopping, food delivery, or lawn care. Our staff need support with the behind-the-scenes work that makes this program possible including intake calls, matching volunteers with seniors, check-in calls, and data entry. Onsite role, Tuesdays and Wednesdays preferred but possibility for Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays as well.

Description
For almost 50 years, JABA has provided a variety of services to help seniors remain as healthy, active, and independent as possible. Programs include information and referral, education and advocacy, and direct services such as adult care centers, community centers, senior meal programs, care coordinators, health care and health promotion programs, health insurance counseling, volunteer and employment opportunities, and conflict resolution for people in nursing homes and other long-term health care settings. Jaba believes that aging is a lifelong process, which is most successfully done in intergenerational communities.
