Meketa USA needs help with so many aspects of our operations.
We need people to do presentations at synagogues and JCCs.
We need people to help with social media.
We need people to go to Ethiopia and work in the community, whether it be teaching and tutoring, providing health care, etc . . .

Mission Statement
There are still Jews left in Ethiopia, and they need our help. The mission of Meketa USA is to help the Jewish folks who remain in Ethiopia to help themselves. We do this through an after-school program, microloans, vocational training, and educational scholarships.

Basically, Meketa was founded by a Reform rabbi from England, and a bunch of folks who had visited Ethiopia and seen the poverty and suffering among the Jewish community that remains there. The goal is to make a difference for these folks, using best practices.
