This year marks 21 years since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The Mission Continues is calling on veterans to stand united and serve in their community. Our Service Platoons across the country have organized service projects for veterans and local volunteers to come together, make an impact in their community, and honor those who served and sacrificed in the wake of 9/11.
We will be serving with LSS Food Panty and helping advance their mission of providing healthy food and meals for residents of Columbus.
We will be spreading gravel to help provide more access to the gardens and building raised garden beds. There will be other small tasks to complete. Lunch will be provided.

At The Mission Continues, we’re on a mission to connect veterans with under-resourced communities. Our programs in cities across the country deploy veteran volunteers alongside nonprofit partners and community leaders to improve educational resources, increase access to parks and green spaces, foster neighborhood identity, and more. Our vision is for all veterans with a desire to continue their service to be part of a movement to transform communities.

The Mission Continues is a national, nonpartisan nonprofit that empowers veterans to continue their service, and empowers communities with veteran talent, skills and preparedness to generate visible impact.
