Volunteers supervise visits between children in alternate care and their parents. They will be directed by the family’s county social worker who will provide them the necessary information for the visits. The volunteer’s role is to supervise the visit making sure it is a safe and productive visit. Visits are held at a site determined by the social worker and family. The volunteer’s schedule is flexible and determined by the hours they want to work and the assignments they accept from the volunteer coordinator.
