About the Organization

Rhodes Academy for the Creative Arts is a nonprofit organization that specializes in providing education in the creative arts through the utilization of Web 3 Technology - NFTs. Web 3 technology currently consists of virtual reality, cryptocurrency, blockchain, and smart contracts. Rhodes Academy is currently the first educational model to provide creative arts education in Web 3 in the world.

Job Summary

The marketing intern will be tasked with assisting with social media content creation and helping to manage all of the Rhodes Academy social media platforms on a consistent basis that may include creating images and videos and coordinating press releases. Additionally, the intern will assist with coordinating live and virtual events.

Job Duties (may includes by are not limited to):

Marketing

• Compiling and distributing information such as website and social media analytics
• Monitoring social media accounts, creating content and responding to messages
• Creating and analyzing questionnaires
• Contributing ideas to marketing campaigns
• Compiling and distributing financial information
• Writing marketing and website text
• Helping to organize market research

Event Planning

• Organizing presentations and events
• Assisting with promotional activities
• Sending out emails and making phone calls
• Scheduling and coordinating meetings

Recruiting

• Student and instructor recruiting searches

Required Education/Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and how to manage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or Google equivalent programs
• Technical proficiency to alter graphics and creating documents

Required Soft Skills:

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to effectively manage time

• Collaborative in efforts

• Detailed oriented

• Ability to take initiative with creativity and problem solving efforts
