Once a month The Salvation Army downtown San Diego distributes food staples to seniors. If you are looking for a fun and rewarding opportunity to complete your community service, we would love your help.
Requirements:
- Help set up and clean up for the event.
- Assist in distributing food boxes or bags.
- Disassemble boxes and discard in recycle bin.
- Ability to stand for most of the shift.
Qualifications:
- Have a heart for working with low-income individuals.
- Must be able to lift and carry a 20 pound food bags for distribution.
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift.
