The La Jolla Community Center is in need of an instructor to teach Line Dancing to active older adults and seniors once a week Monday-Friday flexible with times.
As its name suggests, line dancing involves people dancing in lines to music. The dances are choreographed with a repeating series of steps that are performed in unison. Dancers all face the same direction, although there may be multiple lines.

Description
The La Jolla Community Center offers a wide variety of programs: yoga, jazzercise, computing, literature and the arts, languages, bridge, and more. Located on La Jolla Boulevard near Wind’n'Sea Beach, the facility includes several activities rooms, and a commercial-sized kitchen. In addition to formal classes, the La Jolla Community can also be used as a venue for meetings and events.
The La Jolla Community Center is managed by the Friends of the Riford Center, a community-based 501(c)(3) corporation established in 2007, under a lease from the City of San Diego (the owners of the facility). The Friends Board of Directors is responsible for strategic oversight of the La Jolla Community Center activities and operations. Much of the work at the La Jolla Community is undertaken by volunteers.
