ORGANIZATION: Baraka African Cultural Center

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

With the increased demand by the children to want to learn the music language, and considering the fact that we are a child based organization, it is very important that they understand what it means to express themselves musically and also learn how to be able to communicate through the music language. This way, they can be able to communicate with their community and elaborate on issues that affect them like child labor, Gender Based Violence, among others through original compositions.
One of the things that we are so passionate about is the SDG goals and the biggest of them all is climate change and how it has affected the whole world. With music, we are able to express the views of the people and easily find solutions.

Baraka is an NGO founded by Martin Male in 2017. Artistically talented but socially disadvantaged children and youth are trained in the traditional arts of Uganda by former beneficiaries.
