Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Idealist.org

Recruiting Organization: Start-Up Kids Club

Start-Up Kids Club (SKC) is a non-profit that provides students with a hands-on approach to guide the development of their business idea under the direction of SKC-trained teachers, with regular presentations from local entrepreneurs (i.e., mentors). Students also have the opportunity to utilize the entrepreneurial skills they've learned by setting up their own business booth to sell their products or services.

SKC students are supported by local community volunteers that can lead a class at one of our many locations around Austin. Class Leads commit 1.5 hours a week, for 14 weeks to lead students through our program. We provide all training and materials. For other volunteer opportunities, complete our interest form.
