Description:

Downtown Pomona Owners Association also known as DPOA is a Property-Based Improvement District (PBID). The benefit of a PBID provides enhanced maintenance, marketing, and public safety. To beautify and have economic development through programs above and beyond those provided by the City of Pomona. Key programs include 2nd Saturday ArtWalk, 909 Open Market, and Collector Faire. Downtown Pomona has programs to assist business development and street life projects such as wall murals, crosswalk decor, and decorative lighting. Our PBID assists in improving the overall viability of business districts, resulting in higher property values, thriving businesses, and a safe community for all.

Requirement:

An organization is as strong as the community that holds it up. Let’s combine our abilities and passions to bring others together.

• Age 16+ up (can provide community hours)
• Volunteers need to be able to work well with others and have a strong work ethic.
• Stay motivated and focused on tasks or projects.
• Available to work Saturday events.
