Lanier Technical College is looking for a Mentor/Administrative Assistant for the 'Gear Up Georgia' Grant. End of semester stipend of $2,500 paid by the Gear Up Georgia Grant through UGA. Flexible: Days (Mon-Thur) and hours dependent on student need and mentor availability (9 hr/week minimum). Position duties:

  • Serve as a guide and supporter of 'Gear Up' students
  • Provide community-building and outreach through scheduling one-on-one meetings with 'Gear up' students
  • Connect 'Gear up' students with appropriate school resources
  • Provide administrative support to the Student Affairs department
