HOPEmatch is a local Charlotte area organization who has a robust Christmas "Adopt-a-Family" program. October 1st through Thanksgiving, we are looking for virtual volunteers who will commit to our Phone Team. This role is super rewarding, as you get to call families that have been nominated to our program and surprise them with the gift of their Christmas presents being provided for their family.

Volunteers will need access to their own phone and computer/tablet to make calls, get detailed wish lists for each member of the family, and put the wish list information into an online database HOPEmatch uses to match families with donors who want to help.

We ask that volunteers commit to at least 4 weeks (Monday-Saturday) between 10/1-11/22. For the weeks that volunteers commit to help, we ask that you are available 5-6 days out of that week to make calls. The calls can take awhile because the families aren't asking for help and don't think they will have a Christmas, so it takes a level of patience and compassion for this role.

Volunteer MUST HAVE skills: Accountability, Timeliness, Commitment, Attention to Detail, Compassion, Good People Skills, Patience, Integrity, Professional Verbal/Written Communication

Virtual Training is Required the last week of September. There will be 1-3 times for you to choose from if this opportunity is a fit for you.
