PIPs is a non-profit dog rescue that specializes in dogs with medical and special needs located in the Raleigh NC area. We are a foster based dog rescue with no physical location. All our volunteer needs can be remote based. Please serious and committed inquires only!
PIPs is looking for volunteers to give just 5-10 hours per week to this fantastic and fun rescue. Your time makes a HUGE difference in a shelter dog's life.
We are looking for volunteers that are committed to helping and are dependable. We have needs in the Foster, Adoption, Post Adoption, and Events teams. These volunteer positions are working with our current and future fosters and adopters and the event team would be helping virtually with some of our larger events (as well as on site if you are local). We are happy to provide more detail about each position to see which one might be a good fit for you. For each one:
- Must be available VIA phone, email and text
- You must own a computer
- Must be available throughout the week
- No experience needed, we train and support you
- Self Starter
- Be ok working one on one with people
- Be organized and committed

Mission Statement
Perfectly Imperfect Pups (PIPs) aims to build a community of like-minded, kick-ass dog rescue ninjas that strives to save the lives of at-risk dogs.
Description
Our name says it all, PIPs’ primary focus are medical and special needs dogs that are often overlooked. We call these dogs "PIP-abled" which means perfectly imperfect. A dog that may need a wheelchair, is missing limbs, deaf, blind or in need of some extra love and care - this is our niche.
While we love our PIP-abled dogs; puppies, healthy adult dogs, and seniors have our hearts as well. We are inclusive of all dogs in need.
